There are so many different reasons to study space. Forexample - satellites, they can monitor deforestation rates, invasive species progression, ozone depletion and even find the sources of all these problems. Additionally, in space, with the microgravity and complete vacuum properties, we are able to conduct many different experiments that we cannot do here on earth. I.e. cardio vascular experiments. Additionally, advancements in space lead to advancements on earth. Microcomputers, air filters, water purification systems (so you can have a pool) - all space spin offs. Overall, space affects us in almost every way you didn't think of.

Here are some reasons to study earth science:

  • anything you learn makes you smarter!
  • you live on Earth, so you should learn about your home
  • its nice to know things like why you should not build a house on the nice, flat land beside a river, or how to start a fire with rocks, or how to find a fossil.

Because we find out about the earth and its environment from the books. How the environment affected the people on earth and what precautions should we adopt so we can get along with it. It also is important because you get to know more about your earth.

The simple answer is, because it's awesome.

Otherwise, Earth Science is very important in understanding how our world works. It has many different applications, from oil and mining, to waterways and seas, to understanding Earth History, and to engineering and building, as well as many others.

Because you want to know about the Earth? Or because you think that the qualification will help you to get the type of job that you want.

SO we can make good predictions an be prepared what can happen in the future.

One example of a bad prediction is 2012. 1st. the myians never predicted that.

2nd. My dad talked to a scientist about it and he said everyone that's saying different ways that other people said the world is going to end is fake.

so we will know that earth science is literacy of critical importance to our nature.
