Role of RS in the soil erosion hazard assessment?
The denudation of the soil cover and subsequent washing down is described as soil erosion. The processes of soil formation and erosion, go on simultaneously and generally ther…e is a balance between the two. Sometimes, this balance is disturbed due to human activities like deforestation, over-grazing, construction and mining etc., while natural forces like wind, glacier and water lead to soil erosion. breaking down of soil time period can cause land slides.
Soil Erosion washing away or carrying away soil from one place to another place
soil erosion damages the soil because it does not let plants grow well when topsoil is removedgcv
because it very simple we need it for a lot thing for trees ,plats ,fruit and vegetables
yes because as we mine, the top soil is washed away and this makes the soil in-fertile.
Yes its the same thing.
being overly optimistic
Workplace hazard assessment and control is the process of identifying hazards in the workplace and eliminating them or reducing either the probability they will occur or their… likely consequences.
yes or maybe.
Erosion is the movement of weathered(broken down by water, wind, etc.) material. Soil erosion changes soil because it takes away nutrients from it. This in-turn makes the soil… unhealthy which affects it's living organisms such as plants. This can affect us because when we eat the plants that are from the unhealthy soil, we are receiving less nutrients. Edit: Soil erosion also changes the soil by simply removing it. Many tons of soil are lost every year due to erosion by wind or water. This soil may end up at the bottom of the ocean, or other places where it will never do anyone any good. Soil that is well-rooted with perennials like grass or trees, etc. does not erode. Erosion is mostly due to the practice of tillage in farming. Low-tillage, or no-tillage methods of farming greatly reduce the losses of soil due to erosion.
The obvious danger is the possibility of an inaccurate assessment. If the actual risk is greater than the assessment , proper prevention may not occur and unnecessary damage m…ay occur. The assessor may also be blamed for not giving an adequate warning of a danger if an accident occurs. On the other hand, if a risk is over-rated an over-reaction may occur. Relatively safe practices and devices have been banned in the past by governments at needless expense to businesses and individuals and sometimes the proposed substitutes not only are more expensive but do not work or work poorly.
To reduce any possible damage or injury
less fertile, less quality,less productive
The rate of erosion depends on many factors. Erosion is caused by "fluid flow". Any substance, like water, wind, or ice, which flows consistently from one place to another, wi…ll facilitate erosion. The geologic factors include the sediment or rock type, its porosity and permeability, the slope (gradient) of the land, and whether the rocks are tilted, faulted, folded, or weathered. The biological factors include ground cover from vegetation or lack thereof, the type of organisms inhabiting the area, and the land use.
Soil erosion is not the same as soil transfer. Soil erosion is when an element (ie: wind, water) erodes the soil, taking it away. Soil transfer is when an element (ie: wind, w…ater) carries...soil ia a removal of top soil
