You engine tipically cranks over before starting at 300 to 500 RPM, you could wrench it by a hand rachett at 5 Revolutions per minute (RPM). Most tachometers only read down to 100, so when you say 5, do you actually mean 500?
no
You don't need to do anything I have a 2.2L 5 speed and in 5th gear the rpm is always 3000rpm. Hope this helps.
it goes up
Carburettors are not rated by RPM
The Batman - 2004 RPM 3-5 was released on: USA: 5 November 2005

If you cut down about 10 the volume goes down 5 if you cut 9 its 4 if you cut 8 its 3 if you cut 7 its 2 if you cut 6 its 1 But if you cut 5 or LESS No volume goes down!
Usually, 5 goes up.
if the number is 4 or below, number goes down. if the number is 5 or above, it goes up.
You may have a weak alternator, or you may be shifting to early. Entering a higher gear will drop the rpm down to much, and the alternator will not be turning fast enough to put out the proper voltage, and the light will come on. This would not be noticeable with the 4 to 5 shift because of the smaller rpm change, and down shifting would have an opposite effect(engine RPM increases). Let the rpm build up a little more before shifting.
in your back goes down rt leg?
