What would you like to do?
Should you paint the ceiling and trim the same but darker green color when painting the wall a light natural green?

Do you paint the ceiling the same color as the walls?
Answer:.
Normally no. The Ceiling should be painted a lighter coler to add openness to the room.Usually ceiling white or about three shades lighter on the color chart (or mor…e). This makes a room feel more open and not so closed in. Hope this helps.

Can someone tell me if the color of the trim in bath should primarily be darker than the wall color and should I paint the vanity one of those colors?
There really is not "should" or "must" in decorating. Best rule of thumb, check the rest of the house... if the baseboards are all painted a darker shade of the wall colour,… then there is your answer. If you are "starting fresh" and are looking to make your life easier, I would suggest ALL baseboards and trim be painted white. It goes with everything, is easy to touch up if it gets chipped or damaged (no looking in the basement for the "right" can of coloured paint), and most important of all, it allows you to have different colours in your rooms without the difficulty of trying to figure out where to change colours as you pass from one room to the next..
As for the vanity, I'm a big fan of white here as well. That is not to say you can't paint it to match or co-ordinate with the walls. There are some great bathrooms out there done with the cabinetry in colours, but if it were mine it would end up white. Easy to clean, easy to decorate around and true white is available from every paint company out there.

In the kitchen should the ceiling be painted the same color as the walls?
In my opinion just leave the ceiling white. If you paint it the same color as the walls it makes that space seem smaller or enclosed like a box.
If you have a green tub what color would you paint your walls?
White or a shade of light yellow would work well.

Can you paint your wall a green screen color and still use green screen software?
A painted green wall can be used very effectively with chroma keying (the technique used to isolate a subject from a colored background). There are some things to keep in mind… before doing this..
First, wives and girlfriends generally do not approve of such color schemes. Chroma keying and elegant color schemes rarely mix. Assuming that the first issue can be overcome, the final choice of paint may be the result of experimentation. Be prepared to try several different paints on a small scale first. Most chroma keyers allow the background color to be tuned to suit the backdrop and it is well worth spending time getting the set up right. Lighting is important. Keep the whole background evenly illuminated and make sure that the subject does not cast shadows on the background. Some chroma keyers can use shadows on the background to provide a shadow on the final background image but for most purposes, avoid shadows - they just make the keying more difficult. The green background will also illuminate the back and sides of the subject, causing unwanted effects such as a green cast to the sides of the subject. Keep as much distance as possible between the screen and the subject. It's worth experimenting with some backlights of a complementary color to help to overcome the green fringe that is sometimes seen. Shades of pink are a good starting point. Green is not the only color that can be used. Blue is often used and causes less a less noticeable fringe effect but does not work well with blue clothing. Finally, the wall does not actually have to be any specific color. Using a white wall and lighting with green or blue gels will create the same effect. The gels need to be strong, primary colors and used with high power lighting. This technique demands distance between the subject and the background to avoid white subject lighting spilling onto the background. Given sufficient space and controllable light fittings, this technique can work well without having to live with a green wall. Chroma keying can be used very effectively and opens the door to a huge variety of effects but remember that it is not an easy technique to master. This is proved far too often in low budget news and tv programs where insufficient time, lighting or space is assigned to the effect. Separating the subject from the background is relatively easy. Making the end result look natural is far harder. Spend time to experiment and find out the schemes that work best for your own application. The time will be a great investment and will pave the way for some great results.

What color should you paint your ceiling?
Ceilings are a much neglected surface for paint. I have decorator friend who claim a ceiling should never be anything but white, but I disagree. I used a midnight blue on the… ceiling of my studio against everyone's advice (they all claimed it would bring the ceiling down) but I found it was like working outdoors on a clear night. The ceiling all but disappeared from my consciousness. I have done murals on several ceilings, included pale blue with fluffy little clouds in a nursery, and the canopy of a forest in a young man's room. I love to do the faux coffered ceiling look by adding a moulding a foot or so from the wall and painting the outer area a slightly darker shade of the colour I paint the inner area. Even if you just paint the ceiling a much lighter colour of your wall colour it tends to add a bit of something special to the room.

What colour should you paint your wall if your couch is sage green?
To answer your question white is always a favorite with a piece of sage green furniture but you could always go with a feature wall of off white or light grey to spice the roo…m up a bit.

Is it ok to paint the walls the same color as the ceiling if youhave low ceilings?
If it is a light color I would think it would look OK, but it will make your room look smaller. How about one wall in a dark color and a contrasting color on the walls. Make a… stencil and put clouds on the ceiling. I did this in my kitchen.

If you are painting a room pink and green how should you paint the walls?
Just normally like a painter, you have to be like a painter and think like a painter in order to deceide how you'll paint your wall.

I would do white for a very clean, fresh look. I would add in some black accents or accessories to balance it out. It will look great! Make sure the fixtures are not too dat…ed, or it will all look a little tired. Think chic, classic London or NYC vintage apartment.

What color should you paint your bath ceiling if walls are light green and have 10 foot smooth ceilings?
More and more people are embracing the idea of coloured ceilings. The great thing about decorating a bathroom is you can "go a little wild." It's not like your are going to be… spending a lot of time in there. So, you could play it safe and paint it white. You could make it easy on the painter and use the same colour as the walls. You could enhance the height by using a lighter shade of the wall colour. A soft yellow would make the room sunny looking, always good in a small space (bathrooms don't usually have big windows. A sky blue, would make the ceiling "go away." Or you could go dark. A deep green, would "bring the ceiling down" a medium green would reflect "greener" through out, or my favourite in a bathroom is a colour I call, just past midnight blue. It's a bold step, but one several of my clients have asked for after seeing my studio.
