Go to an ER or dentist. Do NOT try to do it yourself. You could penetrate the sinus cavity and cause a worse infection or need sinus surgery.
You should go to a dentist.
you should drain it using your mouth
Bacteria is the cause of an abscess on the roof of your mouth. Contact your family doctor or dentist to find the treatment care you need.
No. Go to a dentist.
Take a sip of mouthwash and swill it around the mouth. Press against the abscess with a sterile pad until the pus is released. Spit out and rinse with mouthwash. Once the pus has been released the pain should go away! Continue to the end of the antibiotic treatment. Revisit the dentist.
My opinion is that it is not safe to use a needle yourself, you could cause an infection and then you really would be in pain. Try warm rinsing your mouth with warm salt water. It is amazing how healing that can be. It could "pop" this just by rinsing with the warm salt water. Continue rinsing several times a day before and after it has popped. Warm salt water like this is very healing in the mouth....just dont swallow it.
my 11 year old have something that looks like an abscess under her tongue on the floor of her mouth what is that?
it comes from infections from ur mouth and if u get hurt
No. Spitting out blood COULD be caused by more serious conditions such as TB or less serious conditions such as a bitten tongue. If the blood is definitely SPAT out (as in cleared throat and spat) rather than blood in the mouth (bitten tongue/bitten inner cheek) then IMMEDIATE medical attention should be sought.
Yes, you can use mouth wash with an abscess on your gums. Using antimicrobial mouth wash can also reduce the infection and should be used daily. Another option is to rinse your mouth with sea salt and water.
