kiss
heartbreakers
and many others that i dont know
^^ If these bands are Satanist, then I would be afraid of the bands i currently listen to. These bands are probably more Christian than Satanist.
Neither of those are true Satanists. Check out the black metal scene, bands like Mayhem etc. Then Marilyn Manson is a Priest of the Church of Satan, although there aren't that many true Satanists outside of black metal.
It is VERY hard to list all the Satanic bands of the world. There are over 500 black metal bands, and a small portion are actually Satanist.
Behemoth
Enthroned
Samael
Dissection
Sirius
Shade Empire
Gorgoroth
Astrath
Borgne
Triptykon
Vader
This is a very small portion of Satanic bands. If anyone else knows of any other, please continue this list.
The reality of it is that most "Satanic" bands are the equivalent of what rappers refer to as "studio gangsters" - their lyrics may be laden with the lyrics, but the members of the bands don't actually hold such beliefs to be true.
This is often the case, even with Black Metal bands.
Morbid Angel, Deicide, Hate Eternal, Gorgoroth, Aiden, Kiss, and i dont know any more
Kiss aren't. Behemoth, perhaps, Darkthrone, Emperor, Mayhem... check out anything in the subgenre black metal.
Scratch Kiss and especially Aiden off that list. Since when is hardcore "Satanic"? Try Darkthrone, Emperor, Immortal, probably Behemoth. As the above editor said, black metal. That's it's definition. Tiamat is a particularly satanic band, although there are plenty of others.
Far too many.
there are lots of heavy metal bands in America
People have different opinions on whether it is satanic or not, but I don't really think it is. Some of us just like to rock out and turn up the volume. It's a good way to let out your anger and depression. It also depends on the lyrics. Just because they curse and scream doesn't mean it's about Satan and all that stuff. If that's what the lyrics are like in a different song, then sure, it could be considered satanic. It isn't always metal. Think about the religion of the band that made the song. Some bands are Satanic, but it doesn't mean anything different from what non-Satanic bands sing about. There's several different types of Metal music, such as Thrash, NÜ Metal, Etc. And, keep in mind, they have also made Christian metal.
No. They are very much a Christian metal band. Just because they use skulls as artwork and do some screaming in their songs doesn't make them Satanic. It's just a style. There are many other Christian metal bands who do the same thing. Look at Demon Hunter.

Many people say that one of the first songs to influence a lot of heavy metal was "You Really Got Me", by the Kinks. As well as that, a lot of 70s punk bands such as the Ramones influenced a lot of heavy metal artists.

There are many types of bands. I shall attempt to name a few. There are Heavy Metal, Easy Listening, Jazz, Techno, Marching, and finally, Rubber.

like other bands you will first need aguitar, bass guitar, or pair of drums. you also need to know what heavy metal sounds like there are many types of heavy metal. after you get a taste of metal decide what metal you like from early metal like black sabbath to the thrash of megadeth, as long as you play "heavy metal" music you are basically a heavy metal band
Alter Metal is a cross genre between Grunge/ Alternative and Heavy Metal. Anter Metal and Alternative Metal are different in many ways, such as Alter Metal bands have a grungy look to them. And Alter Metal leans more towards Grunge/ Alternative, and Alternative Metal is more Heavy Metal.
Interesting as there very well could be a music form which is essentially heavy metal influenced by country or "western" music. As for bands, there aren't that many, but Dezperadoz (from Germany) is a metal band that has western influences.
Satyricon lyrics are not that dark compared to lyrics of bands like gorgoroth. Plus the band categorizes itself as black metal which is by definition satanic. The vocalist satyr also wears an inverted cross on his neck symbolizing satanism. But not many of they're songs can be offensive.
He has changed the world mainly because of his work with Black Sabbath, because they were the pioneers in Heavy Metal, and influenced many bands. Actually, many of these bands wouldn't even be there without Sabbath!
The band Creed is the most Satanic band. Most people think that Creed is a Christian band, but that is not the case. They use Christian themed lyrics as a guise to attract Christians to the temptations of Hell.
