Connect the three wires that come out of the motor to the three supply wires that come from the magnetic contactor. Turn the power on and push the start button. If the motor turns the wrong way, shut the power off and change any two wires in the motor junction box.
In case of DOL - it as same as having two DOL power contactors, one with RYB another with a polarity changed say RBY. One contactor runs the motor in forward direction and the other run the motor in reverse direction.
If Variable speed Drive is used it is far more easier and with a command would run the motor in other direction.

I am mot so sure.
The single line diagram is circuit diagram where "one-line" is shown to represent three phases of a three phase power system. In addition to showing the ratings and size of electrical equipment and circuit conductors, a properly drawn one-line diagram will also show an electrically correct distribution of power with respect to current flow from the power source to the downstream loads or panelboards.
It's a diagram showing the components and connections needed to build a voltage stabilizer. The diagram will show a power transistor and a voltage reference, such as a zener diode.
There are schematics to show you how to build one. You can also purchase a converter too. Most involve using a extra motor for the converter. Just search on the internet for the above description to find schematics. Also see the related link below. It may be all you need.

There is no "proper name" for an electrical diagram. They are commonly called circuit diagrams.
Yes, use a ladder diagram.
a schematic circuit is a diagram that show you how a particular circuit works
A circuit diagram is used simplified graphical drawing representing an electrical circuit. It shows the actual wire connections using a block diagram or layout diagram. It does not show a physical depiction of the arrangement of components.
A phase diagram shows if a substance is going to be a solid gas, or liquid at a combination of pressure and temperature. It states what phase of matter a substance is at a specific temperature.

The lines show where a phase changes happens to a substance -

A diagram of a 4.3 Vortec motor can be found in manuals, books, and online. There are several websites that show diagrams and books can be found in stores or local libraries.
