I have found that shredded paper and dried grass both work, although the grass must be dead.
Breyer horse accessories are well known for their superior quality and detail. Collectors of Breyer model horses use them to compliment their model horses.
buy some small sheets of balser wood and cut them in to little strips measure it to the horse then use super glue to make a breyer sized 'wooden fence'.
You can use an airbrush, pastels, or oils. Acrylic and colored pencil for details
yes when the breyer company first paints the model they use air brushes then they paint on the details There are many artist out there that customize Breyer horses using a lot of different mediums including airbrushing. If you want an idea check out ebay, just type in breyer horses in the search box and look for CM (abbreviation for customized)
You can use hot water, but you have to be CARFUL******<<<< you can also try a heat gun though I have not tried this befor or you can use a blow dryer :) i hope i helped :)
Hi, The way that I make my Breyer food is I just jet things like... -uncooked rice -Crushed weetbix -oats -hay I usually just use rice with some chopped up hay. Sometimes the food can go off and things like bugs can eat it! So I usually have a container that I put all the mix in. And then when I need the mix I use it, and at the end it goes back into the container. You can use other things too, different cerials have different things in them (duh!) Really healthy cerials have things like bran and stuff that look like horse feed. Just crush it up if the food is big (and if it has nuts or dried fruit, simply remove it!) There's lots of other ways that you can do it, that's just the way I do mine :) !
If you want to measure a pound of feed for a horse, it is a good idea to use a scale. A scale will be the most accurate way to measure a pound of feed.
Check the Breyer website. Tips: use an airbrush for pro results set at least 2-3 hours to do a project have many scales of paints onhand use newspaper when painting place a piece of paper behind horse when air brushing Happy Painting!
It depends on what your vet recommends. If your horse is prone to colic you could use alfalfa. I use coastal for my horse, and it is more traditional. But if your horse has digestion problems you would use a different kind.
