Nora tells Patch she loves him.

Summer school patnered up with Marcie Millerwho asks for info on Patch as she noticed his file was empty. points out Patch was in her drive way the night Nora said she loved him. They break up. An old friend of Nora's mom, and Nora named Scott moves into town with his mother, Nora's mum invites them to dinner. Vee has start dating Rixon thanks to Patch pairing them together. Nora is invited to go to a bar by Scott which she excepts only to find Marcie and Patch there together. Nora tries to see where Scott has gone, he left saying he needed to find an ATM Patch pulls her out and pushes a wad of cash on her saying that if anything bad go down put it on the table and run. Nora says she doesn't want him as a guardian angel anymore, Patch begs her to take it back. goes inside finds Scott at a pool table a man comes in with a gun. Nora heads for the door, Patch waiting outside and gives her the keys to his Jeep.

Somewhere along the lines it is also revealed that Scott is a nephilim angel. Scott is a lot more complicated than that, though. It is also revealed that he was branded by a man named "The Black Hand." The Black Hand works for a secret society of Nephilim. THe Nephilim are trying to rebel against the fallen angels taking over their bodies in the Jewish time of Cheshvan. If this secret society, that isn't so secret because Patch knows about it, which is how Nora knows about it, suceeds, the fallen angels will start possesing human bodies. Which is much more complicated because fallen angels cannot make humans swear fealty they must give their bodies over willingly, plus since humans are weaker, they will die.

When this is revealed she also steals his ring, a ring that The Black Hand gave to him, and since Scott lost the ring, he is terrified the Black Hand will hunt him down and kill/hurt him or someone he loves.

Later, Scott comes into her house demanding the ring, in self defense she pulls a knife against him, but Rixon and Vee intervene, saving Nora. When the cops come, they believe the story that she used the knife for self defense, was with Rixon and Vee the whole time, and that Scott was the guilty party. Therefore, he is sent to jail.

Various times, three I believe, she is also haunted by her dad, but it is not truly her dad, it is a poser. She follows him, and he tries to kill her, but when she escapes she is left with no scars, bruises, blood, etc. Therefore she is led to believe that it is a fallen angel that has done this.

She also goes to Marcie Millar's house for a party. At this party she and her best friend Vee Sky decide to steal Marcie's Diary. Quite successful, Nora steals the diary. However, then Marcie comes in, and Nora is forced to go out the window and let go, falling into Patch's incredible arms!

Later, after feeling guilty she returns the diary, never having read it. She gives it to Marcy, telling her she never read it. Marcy does not believe her and reveals what is in the book, that she believes that Nora's mom and her very own dad, Hank Miller, are having an affair. Even more, that she thinks there's a possibility she and Nora could be sisters. This shocking revelation leaves Nora stunned, knowing that there's a possibility that her 'mortal enemy' could be related to her!

Later, she goes to the Delphic with Vee and Rixon, where they learn that Scott bent the iron bars at the jail cell (due to his nephilim strength) and he is on the loose. Trying to escape, she ends up running into Scott. Rixon tries to help her out and leads her into some tunnels, much like a labyrinth, underneath Delphic. It reveals that Rixon is trying to kill Nora. That he is the real threat.

Rixon forced a nephilim named Barnabas to swear fealty to him, the name Barnabas currently goes by is Hank Miller (Marcy's dad). So, remembering back to the diary incident with Marcy, it is revealed that Hank Miller is actually Nora's father, and that what we believed to be Nora's father was trying to save/protect/hide Nora. Being the daughter of Barnabas, Rixon believes in the book Of Enoch, and by killing a descendent of Barnabas he will become human, which is how Nora is so imperative. It also turns out that Hank/Barnabas is a descendent of Chauncey/Jules. Something to do with pregnant fallen angels is what created Hank. Rixon tries to kill her but fails. She escapes into some mechanical room where she finds Scott. Who tells her that The Black Hand had assigned him to look after her father the night that he was murdered (which is revealed that her "father" was murdered by Rixon). He almost tries to kill himself but Nora intervenes, asking for his help.
