you are asking two different questions. For gaming you need a good CPU, probably dual core will do it because you are gonna do a lot of work with the PC. also you might need some what kind of a cooler, if you are overclocking your CPU.

Is this GHz, Windows Score? Not much information was given. For GHz, It is reasonable, but not very good for gaming, GHz isnt all that makes up a processor though. If it is a windows score, then it is very bad.

I would suggest buying a Graphics card for this. A new processor will be helpful to. In my current system i have a Nvidea GTX 780ti Graphics card matched up with a Intel 4790kProcessor both on a MSI Gaming 7 Motherboard. This current setup I have has been amazing for gaming so far and I defiantly suggest these components. Remember gaming hardware can be expensive, so keep that in mind.
