Their population in 1928 was 8000 people. They used tools like spears,bows and arrows,and fishing spears but he men mostly hunted so it was better for the tribe . They were afraid of white people and explorers,and in the 1800's they had to move to Oklahoma . And they also farmed but women did most of it while men did the hunting .They also enjoyed sassafrass tea and cooked stews, soups, cornbread, and other Chickasaw dishes on stone hearts. They lived in the southeast side and there were all over there in Kentucy, Tennessee,Missouri.

They did not believe in supernatural beings.
