The tundra biome is found mainly in the Arctic region, covering areas such as Northern Russia, Canada, Alaska, and parts of Scandinavia. It is characterized by cold temperatures, permafrost, low biodiversity, and short growing seasons. Tundra vegetation includes mosses, lichens, and low-lying shrubs adapted to the harsh conditions.
