I have blue-gray eyes and have had my naturally reddish-brown hair tinted burgundy for the past 5 years. I suppose the best colors depend on your skin tone; mine is like a neutral beige with no discernable blue or yellow tones.
I can only tell you what colors have worked for me. Both white and black work well. The gray tones I use are more silver-gray. Buttercream, banana and goldenrod are good yellows. I wear Oranges that have more blue in them like tangerine or coral, rather than true orange, rust or the "autumn" type oranges. Pinks are generally good for me though there are exceptions. Someone once told me that the natural shade of the inside of your lip is your no-fail go-to shade; then expand it to the same family: from icy to deep. Then try pinks like carnation, mauve, shocking pink and Magenta. Darker red shades like burgundy, cranberry and wine work well also. I can't seem to wear mid-range reds: I've tried tomato, ruby and brick. I have yet to try true red, but tree green is fabulous, as is most shades of green. Apple green is superb, as is forest green and lime.
I can rock most blues, but use your eye color as a guide to start (nature's personal choice of blue for you)...then expand from there. Oddly, it doesn't seem to matter in my case if they are blue-ish or yellow-ish: teal, chinese blue, cornflower and indigo (aka "blue jean blue") all look great on me. Again, like the other cool colors, blue and green, I can wear most purples, though some just don't look right if they are "dusty", muddy or too "electric/neon" looking.
I wear both gold and silver-toned jewelry. I also like rose-gold which I thinks looks great with my coloring.
Again these are the colors that worked for me, the big factor is skin tone, but you should be able to wear any color you want as long as you choose the right shade.
Hope this helps to start you off on the right path with your new look!
golds, mid-tone browns, black with gold shimmer
I'd say a deep brown starting at the outer crease and go in with a lighter tanish color. Then brush some gold powder on
Dark pink/light red/candyfloss pink

Wikipedia is a good place to find a bit more information about the color burgundy. Colors don't tend to have lengthy history, so the information is not vast.
If the person is talking about clothing, then good colors are red, white, and black. These colors either match the color of your eyes or help bring out the color of your eyes by being a contrast color.
Depends, mostly if you have grey or light hazel eyes you would go for a green. Blue and Purple are really nice colors to help brown eyes stand out. I know, your probably like, Blue?! But actually blue really works nicely, if its not too light or not too dark.
if you want something bright and contrasting, bright red is cute as long as you arent over dressed or in other bright colors..but for everyday, i like the way nude color lipsticks look with my eyes, both bring out the blue
purple, blue, black, or dark colors are good to wear to temple
Purple eyeliner and eye shadow is recommended for brown eyes, along with brown mascara, because it tends to allow the colors in your eyes to pop. Also different shades of browns, greens and even gold go well with brown eyes.
i Have blue eyes also so i know that the colours pink, purple and silver are colours that go well also creamy colours look good too. Also if your eyelashes arent very noticable or you think that your eyes are one of or your best factor then apply quita a lot of mascars or apply eyeliner to make them stand out.
Pretty good, of both parents have blue eyes.
