That goes from the storage, examination, and reverse engineering of crashed alien spacecraft, the study of their occupants, and the manufacture of aircraft based on alien technology. A few persons came forward as witness like Bob Lazar who produces identification but his academic records were vanished. Then came the development of unusual and exotic propulsion systems related to the Aurora Program and activities related to a supposed shadowy one world government or the Majestic 12 organization. A few more kept coming over the years and other will be coming.

Is all of the propoganda of area 51 true?

Much of the propaganda surrounding Area 51 is speculation and conspiracy theories. Without concrete evidence, it is challenging to verify the truth behind all the claims made about the facility.

What is a conspiracy theary?

A conspiracy theory is a myth or story made up to explain topics that have little information about them. For example, Area 51 in the Nevada desert (USA) is supposedly a classified research facility. Naturally, people are curious about what goes on there, but Area 51 is where "secret weapons and vehicles" are tested. Prototype UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) are tested, and powerful missiles/warheads are detonated in remote fields. People claim that UFO are hidden here, and all of the secrets of the government are discussed. Since little is known about this area, people make up stories (theories) to explain what is going on in the area.

Why is Area 51 considered restricted from the public?

The government needs a place to develop and test top secret military and spy equipment for defense of the US and to maintain military superiority. The area known as area 51 is at Edwards Air Force Base, the USAF Nevada Test and Training Range. Military security supersedes the curiosity of the public.

What goes on in area 51?

Area 51 (formally known as Air Force Flight Test Center, Detachment 3 and also known as Dreamland, Watertown Strip, Paradise Ranch, The Farm, The Box, Groom Lake, and The Directorate for Development Plans Area) is a remote tract of land in southern Nevada, owned by the federal government of the United States, containing an airfield apparently used for the secret development and testing of new military aircraft. It is famed as the subject of many UFO conspiracy theories. It is also one of the very few "shoot to kill" restriction zones within the US.
