There are quite a few dance styles. Some of the common ones include: - Ballet - Classical Ballet - Neo-classical Ballet - Contemporary Ballet - Contemporary - Modern - Lyrical - Tap - Jazz - Broadway - Hip Hop - Acrobatics (some do not classify this as a dance style) - Breakdance - Street There are many others, including cultural and religious dance styles; those are just off the top of my head.
You can do many different styles of dance in a show. To dance in a show you will have to try out. But jazz, ballet, lyrical, tap, hip hop, and other styles of dance can be in a show.
Ballet! Turnout is important in all dance styles, except hiphop like styles
Mostly Tap, Breakthrough, Jazz and Charleston. The Lindy Hop is a great big fusion of loads of dance styles and you may notice some swing dance moves because the Lindy Hop is a part of the swing dance family.

A lot of flamenco movements are said to be influenced by Indian dance e.g. Kathak and Bharatanatyam styles and some Andalusian folk and gypsy dances. Also, aspects of the dance can be put down to influences from African styles of which the Spanish colonies would have come into contact with in South and Central America via slaves.
