Only you can come up with a good name! Titles come from the story, not from some anonymous person on the internet! Titles are not as important as some writers think - your title might change many times between your first write and your final draft!

Think about your story - what is something special about the story that might make a good title? Don't sweat it - just write something down and get on with the story!

Here are some ideas from the community:

  • Instead of Me, myself, and I, you should do Me, myself, and time because you're writing about your time. Just my idea.
  • A simple approach could be to title your autobiography "The Life and Adventures of (insert name here)".
  • To create a more creative and thoughtful title, many authors use their interests to create a title for an autobiography. Plays on words also make interesting and memorable titles.
  • You could call it anything that you want, but it should be based on what you think the central theme in to your life. "Triumphing Over Pain: My Story" or "Finding Joy Living One Day At A Time" are examples of things that might work for autobiography titles... but really, it is totally yours, so you really can call it whatever you want.
