The rain forest animals have to adapt to damp humid environments. For example, a frog's skin has to be moist or it can crack or bleed. An animal who would not be able to survive in a rain forest -- let's say a polar bear-- is used to cold climates and it has thick fur. A dessert animal is used to HOT temperatures such as a lizard. They are basically used to dry areas as the rain forest is wet and rains a lot through the year as the dessert sometimes only gets one small shower a year!!! So the animals in the rain forest have to adapt to the wet weather and aren't like the other animals.... so sadly, the rain forests are being cut down quickly and frequently.
Rainforest animals are all specially adapted to living in such warm, damp temperature. Rainforest monkeys have developed extremely agile bodies and long, strong arms in order to be able to swing through the trees effortlessly!
We do not know half the species in the rainforest in the first place, so that is an extremely difficult question to answer. However; I suggest this link: http://www.lizasreef.com/hope%20for%20the%20rain%20forests/endangered_rain_forest_animals.htm
Animals can have many different kinds of adaptions but, one for example, is that parrots or Toucans have long and strong beaks to crack open nuts, reach fruit form trees, or slice open fruit.
