Excretory System

Skin-

* Sweat gland-

We, humans have 3 million sweat gland sacs holding perspiration or sweat. Sweat cool down the, body and also remove salts and some toxins.

*pores-

Pores allow water and salts and small amounts of Urea to come out of the body.

(An anatomical structure of the skin of humans [and other mammals] used for secretion of sweat)

Urinary System

*Kidney- Kidneys filter Urea and expel it through urine.

- It also sorts and cleanses substances in the blood.

- The Cortex and the Medulla ilters the blood .

-They are primarily responsible for filtering blood by removing nitrogenous wastes from metabolism, salts & other excess minerals and excess water

UREA---Urea, a poisonus substance is formed in the liver, blood brings it to the kidneys for elimination.

URINE--- It is a liquid waste excreted by the kidneys.

Large intestine

The colon (large intestine) expels food that has not been completely digested by the smaller intestine. Water and undigested food pass into the large intestine for to be expelled out of the body as waste material

Liver

The Liver sorts and cleans substances found in the blood.

*Lobe-It removes toxin that the liver had already sorted out.

Liver cells change amino acids into ammonia and urea. Ammonia is poisonous to cells. Ammonia is transported by blood to the kidneys and sweat glands.

what is the function of excretory system function?

The excretory system function is eliminating metabolic wastes. It is made up of the skin lungs and kidney. If the waste is not emitted, it may cause serious damage to other systems in the body. it "excretes" all useless material that the body has digested, therefor getting rid of any unwanted bacteria/ useless material. The excretory system's main four functions are to rid the body of urea, regulate the body's pH, cleanse and filtrate the blood, and help conserve water. The main function is to remove waste produced by the body.
