The advantage of desk research is, research for free, easier to do and quicker to do than field research (primary research).
Desk research is cost-effective, as it does not involve fieldwork or data collection expenses. It can also be conducted quickly and efficiently using existing resources such as online databases and published materials. Additionally, desk research allows for a wide range of information to be gathered from various sources without geographical constraints.
Questionnaires can be part of desk research as they involve gathering information from pre-designed surveys without direct interaction with participants. Desk research is a method of collecting and synthesizing existing information and data, and questionnaires can be a valuable tool in this process for obtaining specific information from a target audience.
Advantages: Allows for interactive and engaging presentations with multimedia elements. Enables easy sharing and distribution of reports electronically. Provides the opportunity for real-time updates and modifications to the report. Disadvantages: Potential technical issues or compatibility problems with different devices. May require additional time and resources to create digital presentations. Security concerns in sharing sensitive marketing research data electronically.
The two phases of market research are exploratory research and conclusive research. Exploratory research helps to define the problem and gather initial insights, while conclusive research provides specific answers to the research questions through data collection and analysis.
Researching information online allows for quick access to a vast amount of resources, enabling a more efficient and comprehensive search process. Online research also provides the ability to cross-reference information from multiple sources, increasing the accuracy and reliability of the information gathered. Additionally, online platforms often offer up-to-date information, ensuring that research is current and relevant.
A research schedule outlines the timeline and sequence of tasks to be completed during a research project, while a research questionnaire is a tool used to collect data or information from research participants. The schedule helps to organize and plan the research process, while the questionnaire is a specific instrument used to gather data for analysis.

The research techniques listed are: A. Desk research: involves gathering data from existing sources like books, journals, and online resources. B. Field research: involves collecting data firsthand through methods like interviews, observations, and experiments. C. Sample surveys: involves collecting data from a subset of the population through techniques like questionnaires and interviews. D. All of the above: encompasses a comprehensive approach that combines desk research, field research, and sample surveys to gather and analyze data for research purposes.
Advantages: Positivism emphasizes objectivity and scientific rigor in research, leading to more reliable and replicable results. It also allows for generalization of findings to a larger population. Disadvantages: Positivism may oversimplify complex social phenomena and disregard subjective experiences or interpretations. It also tends to prioritize quantitative data over qualitative insights, potentially excluding valuable perspectives.
A metal desk is going to be much more durable. If the desk is made of stainless steel, it will not be able to be stained or scratched, which is an advantage.
To have an ergonomic desk means that the desk is fitted to the user. It is not meant to mean the material that a desk is made of but rather how the desk is set up for each individual user. From my research it looks like any type of desk that can be adjusted can be used and set ergonomically.
ADVANTAGES: 1) The purpose of exploratory research is to know the unknown 2) It narrows down the scope of investigation
There are various advantages associated with qualitative research. For example, it can offer a much more in-depth analysis than other methods.
it sits infront of you at your desk everyday, this makes scheduling easy because you will always know when and what time your appointments are. even though there is no electronic alarm this desk diary makes life easy.
