What are the different human races?
Over time many different racial classifications have existing numbering anywhere between 6 and several hundred. Below are a few of these.
- Khoid (Hottentot) race
- Sanid (Bushmen) race
- Central Congoid race (Geographic center and origin in the Congo river basin)
- Bambutid race (African Pygmies)
- Aethiopid race (Ethiopia, Somalia)
- Mediterranid race (from Mediterranean areas)
- Dinaric race (predominant in western Balkans [Dinaric Mountains] and northern Italy)
- Alpine race
- Ladogan race (named after Lake Ladoga; indigenous to Russia; includes Lappish subrace of arctic Europe)
- Nordish or Northern European race
- Armenid race (Armenia, Syria, Lebanon and northern Iraq)
- Turanid race (Kazakhstan, Hungary and Turkey)
- Irano-Afghan race (Iran and Afghanistan, Iraq, Turkey)
- Indic or Nordindid race (Pakistan and northern India)
- Dravidic race (India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka)
- Veddoid race (remnant Australoid population in central and southern India) Melanesian race (New Guinea, Papua, Solomon Islands)
- Australian-Tasmanian race (Australian Aborigines)
- Northeast Asian or Northern Mogoloid race (China, Manchuria, Korea and Japan)
- Southeast Asian or Southern Mongoloid race (China, Indochina, Thailand, Myanmar [Burma], Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines)
- Micronesian-Polynesian race
- Ainuid race (remnants of aboriginal population in northern Japan)
- Tungid race (Mongolia and Siberia, Eskimos)
- Amerindian race (American Indians)

Because there are different environments; humans have adapted to their environment as they spread across the world. For example, melanin in the skin acts as a shield against …ultraviolet light, however if it completed blocked ultraviolet, vitamin D would not be generated in the body. In tropical areas, the sun is very strong and people have more melanin, in cooler areas the sun is less strong and people have less melanin so sufficient vitamin D is generated.
So we are not all the same.
Humans do smell in a number of senses of the word. We have the ability to detect thousands of smells with our nose. We also ourselves give off various aromas. People can ident…ify each other by smell. Blind people are particularly good at this as their sense of smell is more relied upon.
The Ph. of all human blood is the same. Different races of peopledo not possess different Ph. balances of their blood.
Minor variations over time due to geographic location. But, what we have termed as race does not have any real biological meaning. "... if one were to walk up beside the N…ile from Cairo, across the Tropic of Cancer to Khartoum in the Sudan and on to Nairobi, there would be no visible boundary between one people and another. The same thing would be true if one were to walk north from Cairo, through the Caucasus, and on up into Russia, eventually swinging west across the northern end of the Baltic Sea to Scandinavia..." The question lacks context. Without first defining the criteria for superiority, you cannot know the answer to the question.. For example, if we define "superiority" as " Whi…ch race of beings can swim the fastest in the ocean unaided by mechanical means ." Then humans will not be superior. If we ask the question from a Judeo-Christian theological perspective, then the answer is "Yes" because we have defined the context of "superiority.". Defining the question, is the most important part of finding an answer.. Answer: . Just answer the darn question. What he/she was trying to mean is the human race more superior? Well, maybe. We have progressed more than any other animal so far. .
it is like the diffrent species
DUMB DUMB DUMB---->No. The human genome is the human genome regardless of race. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- … Please leave the social politics out of this. Yes. Geographically separated breeding groups over thousands of years do develop small percentage of difference in genetic diversity. The difference between humans and chimpanzees is on the order of 1.6%. The difference between different human racial groups in the range of 0.02 to 0.1%. Biologist are learning that gene expression is a more powerful determiner in biological function than previously believed. So genetic mutation and gene expression are the two most important factors in determines our functional differences.
One. The "human race" refers to the species homo sapiens, otherwise known as humans. Although we all come in different shapes, colors, and sizes; we are all of the same race/s…pecies. Officially, there are currently five races: Congoid, Capoid, Mongoloid, Caucasoid and Australoid. Congoids are most of the people of Sub-Saharan Africa, such as Nigerians and Congolese. Capoids are a small group of people in South Africa. Mongoloid is the race encompassing East Asians (ex. Chinese, Japanese, Tibetans), South East Asians (ex. Thai, Malays. Vietnamese, Indonesians), Arctic people (ex. Native Alaskans, Inuits, Aleuts, Samoyed), most Polynesians (ex. Hawaiians) and arguably Native Americans*. Caucasoid encompasses Europeans (what most people have come to know as "white people"), most South Asians (ex. Indians, Pakistanis), Arabs and Afghans. Australoid encompasses Melanesians, Aborigines of Australia, Negritos of South East Asia and Veddoids. *This is debatable, as Native Americans are classified as their own race in several studies. The 19th century theories of racial superiority held that there are two main racial groups: the Xanthochroi (light skinned peopled sometimes called Nordic, Caucasian, or Aryan) and the Melanchroi (the darker skinned peoples including African, Asian and Australian natives), with the Mediterranean peoples representing a mixture of the two. This view of the human race fell from favor in the aftermath of World War 2. More recent studies of population genetics suggest that racial distinctions identified by genetics can produce a large number of "races" but no "pure" races. In other words, everyone has genetics from more than one racial group, however those racial groups may be defined.
There is only one human race.
No, we can always find a way out. Humans are curious and self preserving. They will never allow for their total destruction to occur.
If you come to Turkey I will show you if we are human or not my friend:)
In Old Testament
If Adam and Eve were the first humans on Earth and evolution never happened why are there different races?
The Adam and Eve story is just that -- a story! It's not true. It was written thousands of years ago when no one really knew how humans came to be. So, they just said that God… created the first two humans. We know today that this is simply a part of an ancient religion and a very popular story. The truth is: humans evolved from other primates. Over the course of millions of years, they gradually changed. Depending on the area they lived, they took on characteristics to help them survive better. Darker skin was better for those who lived in equatorial regions; lighter skin was better for those who lived in the northern latitudes. Even blue eyes became a trait that made it easier for those who lived in northern climates to see better during long months of darkness. Do an internet search for "human evolution" and learn more. . If you believe the Bible, then whatever I state here would benefit you. If not, then this is all mumbo jumbo and can be discarded: After disembarking from the ark, GENESIS 11 gives us the account - after the flood, where the whole earth had 1 language and as they travelled east found fertile land in Shinar (modern day Iraq). It was decided that they would dwell there. To cut a long story short, they built a tower with the aim of reaching heaven (which although was a noble intention, was against what God had wanted - After the flood, God wanted them to multiply and replenish/refill the earth - GEN 9:1). So God confounded their language, resulting in confusion and ultimately abandonment of their building project. In this way, God was able to scatter them to fulfil His purpose (GEN 11:9). The place was aptly named "Babel" meaning "confusion". It is here, the world population then was forcefully scattered and split up into different races. It is interesting to note that almost every civilization on the planet has some myth/folklore involving a disastrous flood.

There are not different human races, there is only one.
There are not different human races, there is only one. There aredifferent ethnic backgrounds.
