Lake Lake Huron is the second largest at 23,000 sq mi.
Lake Michigan is the third largest at 22,300 sq mi.
Lake Erie is the fourth largest, at 9,910 sq mi.
Lake Ontario is the smallest of the Great Lakes by surface area, at 7,340 sq mi.
