There are many positive and negative impacts of science and technology on humans. Some things have helped people, while others have hurt people.
Among others: (and this is both good and bad) is the fact that science and technology allows 6 billion people to live on Earth rather than a max population of about one million.
Positive is that you get to watch stars and planets and you might want to find out more about them, and that study might lead you into a greater interest in science in general. Negative is that it's best done outside in the winter and you get cold.
This answer depends on who you ask. Some people may agree certain aspects of technology are negative and others may say they are great. For example, Cell Phones are now able to keep phone numbers saved on them. Some people say this is awesome but in most cases, it deprives people from actually having to remember their numbers which could prove to be negative when all their data is deleted. Other's think that texting has changed our language of English and caused it to morph into another that is grammatically incorrect. Some studies have shown that those who text like this are unable to structure sentences correctly. There are many more example of this but that depends on who you ask.
All societies place an emphasis on the roles of science and education. Whether that emphasis is positive or negative, depends on perspective. For example, some Islamic groups do not believe women should go to school. This places a negative emphasis on their education and a positive emphasis on the education of males. Another example is some American Christians who do not believe in the Theory of Evolution. This is a negative emphasis on the role of science as compared to their preferred view of divine creation. The emphasis of specific groups in a multicultural society can differ significantly from that society as a whole.
Science & Technology bane the world
Science an technology impacts humanity in a positive way, in that it makes daily life tasks easier, helps us find solutions to problems, aids in finding cures for diseases, and gets us closer to disproving the god hypothesis. Negative impacts are minimal but include the danger of powerful technology or biomedical agents to fall into the hands of those who wish to cause harm with them.
the positive thing about science and tech is that you learn new things that make life and other things more fun/ creative the negative thing is that it makes it more complex and confusing and they have their downfalls
Not always.Probably the majority of science fiction depicts advances in technology in a positive light however there is plenty that negative if not down right horrid.Blade runnersWar of the WorldsTime MachineAnything Cyberpunk, anything by Ray Bradbury.
Positive Effects: -Cures to unknown diseases -Better quality foods -Better manufacturing processes -Better understanding of the world -Better communication (internet, fiber optics, etc)
Science and technology can help people understand and reduce impacts on the environment. An example of this is using satellites to monitor water availability.
Science and technology produce always 95% correct answers. They can produce wrong or negative answers very very rarely, which with scientists can occur very barely. Hope you enjoyed this information!
Among others: (and this is both good and bad) is the fact that science and technology allows 6 billion people to live on Earth rather than a max population of about one million.
Formerly we used to play games in various traditional ways. But science has given us so many new ways to play the same old games. We should be happy about the positive impacts of science on our games and sports.
it is gram negative SCIENCE!
The atomic bomb of course because that can do no good whatsoever.
Science is like a tool and if the people using it have negative intentions, then it may yield negative results. Weapons of mass destruction are made possible because of advancements in science and technology. Also, one unintentional effect of the advancement of science and technology is global warming.
There is no such thing as a "science application for anorexia".
