This may be stating the obvious but he majority of people know plant cells make up plants and animal cells make up animals. Both plants and animals are considered eukaryotes. The defining feature of eukaryotic cells are the presence of a true-nuclei. There are other features that all eukaryotes share; such as membrane-bound organelles, multi-cellularity, helper proteins called histones, and rather large ribosomes (another organelle). I am not saying that other non-prokaryotic cells do not share some of these traits, besides nuclei, because that is definitely not the case. That is another story though :)

So both animalia and plantae possess nuclei, multi-cellularity, membrane- bound organelles, etc. However, the organelles that distinguish plant cell from animal cell would be rigid cell walls, chloroplasts, and central vacuoles.

I am a bio major and currently taking a botany class. It is introductory but I think I can say I am 99.9% positive. Hope it helps!

Plant cells have a very large central vacuole and animal cells have very small ones. Plant cells have chloroplasts which are organelles and plant cells have a cell wall (most do) but it isn't a true organelle but a structure.

yes animal cells and plant cells do have organelles

What organelles do plant cells have that animal cells don?

Plant cells have certain specialized organelles that animal cells do not need. These organelles are the cell wall and chloroplasts.

yes. organelles or cell parts can be found in plant and animal cells

Cell wall and chloroplasts are two organelles found in plant cells not within animal cells.

The two organelles that plant cells have that animal cells lack are: 1. Cell wall 2. Vacuole.

What organelles do plant cells have animal do not?

Lysosome ,Centriole, and VesicleActually, animal cells do not have any different organelles than plant cells, other than plant cells having a membrane. animal cells do not have a membrane, they have a cell wall.

Is organelles in plant cells or animal cells?

Organelles are found in both plant and animal cells. They are the "little organs" within cells that allow the cell to carry out particular functions.
