Like DNA, RNA contains the bases adenine (A), cytosine (C), and guanine (G); however, RNA does notcontain thymine, instead, RNA's fourth nucleotide is the base uracil (U). Unlike the double-stranded DNAmolecule, RNA is a single-stranded molecule.

Uracil. Thymine is switched out to Uracil, so Adenine will no longer pair with Thymine, it will pair with Uracil!

WhatThree nitrogen bases that are found in DNA and RNA?

DNA and RNA both contain in all four nitrogen bases. classified into purines and pyrimidines. DNA and RNA in common have Thymine, cytosine and Guanine as the three nitrogen bases. DNA has adenine and instead of adenine RNA has uracil as the fourth nitrogen base.
