The Endocrine System. Hormones are basically message carriers from one organ to another target organ in order to keep homeostasis.
I am interested in hCG. IS it produced by the endocrine system? Is it only found in a woman's body during pregnancy? I have heard it is found all over the body and not just during pregnancy. Is this true?
The easiest and most direct answer would be the endocrine system but to be fair the nervous system also produces and secretes hormones.
