1.As a people, bronies are just like anyone else. Normal, different, funny, boring, sad, happy. Just like you may be. The only difference, is we like what others may not. But that's the same with everything you like. Think of what's your favorite food, sport, movie. Well to another, they despise that.
2. If it isn't yet known, bronies are male fans of my little pony. So that's what they like. Maybe it's the characters. Maybe the plots, music, well animation. Whatever the case, we love the show. And of course we like other things just like you. We're still humans.

Bronies are people who like my little pony. why are we hated? some people think that bronies are gay, so they make fun of us. some more reasons are: 1. they think we "love and tolerate" too much.

Many people hate bronies because they are going against the generally accepted gender roles that society creates; they are young men who like something that is generally viewed as feminine. How many people are bronies?
Well, considering that the majority of bronies are online people, it can be hard to say. There was a census though on bronies that looked at this. Basically what they did was sent a question stateing "How strongly would you identify yourself as a brony" to a random 1,028 internet users. It was rated on a 1-5 scale (5 being strongest). They only judged 4s & 5s, and actually together was only 5.4%. However, they took that as meaning that 4.0-6.8% of the internet users (of US) were strongly a brony, which comes out to 7-12.4 million people. So like fluttershy would say, "yay."
How many bronies are there in the world?
From the Herd Census (official site name): "Thus, we can state with a 95% confidence that between 4.0% and 6.8% of the internet-using US population strongly identify as bronies, or approximately 7 to 12.4 million people." These are the most up-to-date statistics for the US. Obviously worldwide this number would become even larger, perhaps by 2 or 3 times. There are currently no reliable statistics for the worldwide population of Bronies - although there probably will be in the coming years. The Herd Census site is ran by Bronies and has many other reliable and up-to-date statistics regarding the fandom.
