It could be low on water and stuff, fill it.
radiator fans running to cool engine...
Check to coolant level in the coolant recovery tank and radiator when engine is cold
A hole in the radiator would do that, or a damaged radiator cap. It could be a cracked engine block that is allowing cylinder pressure into the cooling system, pressurizing the water until it breaks through a weak spot in the radiator.
It can. You should leave the engine running while you add water to the radiator. If you add water with the engine turned off, but while the engine is overheated, you might damage the engine or the radiator.
In radiator or through coolant recovery tank
There is coolant in the engine block when the engine is not running. The engine block, heater, hoses and radiator remain full when engine is not running.
You most likely have a blown headgasket.
Because you dont have the engine running
Consider replacing your radiator cap . .
When the engine is cold you can add to either the radiator or the coolant recovery bottle.
Engine running hot.
