Bent blades or loose mounting. my problem was that it I dont use Trailblazer often and , all sudden fan blower started vibrate, took it to the dealership and "oh my god" it was ACORNS, how the hell did acorns get in? rodents! they can carry and slip though 1/2 inch holes that in the Trailblazer designs.
the blower fan resistor has gone bad.
Either the Hard Drive spinning or a fan.
the blower fan rheostat usually located in blower box is like a resistor that draws energy from the blower fan supply to slow it down and there is a high speed fan relay for the fastest speed. So your rheostat is not working
If the blower runs on high it will get hot. If the blower is wearing out this will cause it to get to hot and blow.
Check the fuses.If not the fuse, test the resistor down by the blower motor.
Loose connection or blower motor? Bad blower motor? Loose fuse? Bad fan switch?
Remove the wiring harness to the heater blower fan. Remove the retaining bolts. Remove the fan from the blower. Reverse the process to install the new heater blower fan.
Replace blower control module. Usually the fan starts acting erraticaly and eventualy just stops.
That can happen when the fan is failing.
The blower fan motor is worn out.
Blown fuse, defective blower motor, defective wiring, defective blower motor resistor pack, or in rare instances a defective blower motor speed control.
