Some sensors may have changed values. Engines temp sensor bad. MAF needs cleaning. Air filter needs replacement. There are many sensors feeding the engine control computer and even it may have a problem. LOL
chances are it maybe the TCC switch stuck on if it has one been a long time since i worked on one
wait for the glow plug light to go out before starting if not and starting straight the engine will judder
there will be a 3 prong plug under or behind the grill near the front bumper that plugs in the block heater, it shoul;d be warmed about 20 minutes in cold weather to help with starting the car.
Put on a cookie sheet in a preheated 350 degree oven for 5 minutes or until warmed.
