Alexander Fleming got out of making penicillin a medicine to curing a diseases that can have symptoms of mucus and saliva that may have gotten you sick. And the medicine "Penicillin" could cure it but the ? and it helps you get better.

He also received many grants from different organizations and some he kept for himself. He also got to travel around the world showing his invention but American inventors got patents for what he did
Fleming discovered Penicillin by accidentally leaving a dish of Staphylococcus bacteria out uncovered. After a few days, he saw that there was one area of the dish where mold was growing.

Fleming does deserve the Nobel Prize as he was the one who discovered the Penicillin and actually published his findings unlike Joseph Lister. Although he was unable to develop his research further, the discovery on its own is of great importance and thus he deserves the Nobel Prize.
