Simply put, the Bible says that the dead are in the grave, awaiting the resurrection. (John 5:28, 29) They are not suffering or in any kind of pain, for "the dead know nothing at all." (Ecclesiastes 9:5) In his teachings, Jesus likened death to a deep sleep. (John 11:11-14) Thus, we have no need to fear those who have fallen asleep in death or to appease them by making offerings to them. They can neither help nor harm us, because "there is no work nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom in the Grave." (Ecclesiastes 9:10) By means of the resurrection, however, God will do away with death forever.-1 Corinthians 15:26, 55; Revelation 21:4. For more information on this subject please visit jworg.

The Bible says Jesus was preaching to the dead during that time.. (1 Peter 3:19, 1 Peter 4:6).
Nobody knows Jesus was supposed to have ascended into Heaven. Therefore there should be no trace of his body anywhere, if the Bible is to be believed.
I don't know but the exact time he rose from his grave Easter moring was and still is 12:59.99
Well, Jesus didn't really get lost. Mary and Joseph just didn't know where He was. They found Him in the temple in Jerusalem, although it is doubtful He spent the whole time… there.
To fulfill prophecy: "For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." (M…atthew 12: 40). Also, Christ died on Friday, and rested on the Sabbath day (we call the seventh day, Sabbath, Saturday) in observance of the fourth commandment, found in Exodus 20:8-10. Thus, He had to wait until at least Saturday night (Sabbath lasts from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday, according to the Genesis account) before He could rise, if He was to observe Sabbath.
For three days Jesus lay dead in the tomb, as the scripture said it would be.
Jesus was in the grave for three days on the third day he arose from the dead.
While Jesus' body was in the grave, his spirit was in heaven. Luke 23:43 reads, "And [Jesus] said to [the criminal], "Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradi…se." (NASB) The word "today" implies that Jesus was going to be in Paradise that very day, directly after his death.

Jesus was put in the tomb on Friday that is called Good Friday and arose on Easter Sunday.
According to Jewish inclusive time reckoning Jesus spent three days and nights in the tomb before He rose. In terms of our way of looking at it, from sunset Friday to early Su…nday morning -Jesus spent just over 36 hours actually in the tomb.
Was Jesus buried on Thursday night to be able to spend three days and nights in the grave as he stated in Matt 12 chapter verse forty?
Some have indeed suggested this, but it actually involves a misunderstading of Jewish inclusive reckoning. A part of a day (or night) was considered as effectively a whole and… counted and so Jesus did not need to spend 72 hours (according to our reckoning)in the tomb to meet the requirement of three days and three nights.

It is a reference to the three days Jesus was in the family "grave", a cave with the family members who had died and been prepared with herbs, spices and other fluids to prote…ct the body. The three days had been prophesied in the book of Jonah (similar to the three days in the Belly of The Whale) and Jesus himself made the prophecy (and promise) that he would rise from the dead after he was killed.
The gospels say that Jesus rose from the grave on the third day - Sunday. The passages in which Jesus rose to heaven are called the ascension, and are only found in Luke's Gos…pel and Acts of the Apostles. Luke says that Jesus was seen by the disciples to ascend bodily to heaven on the evening of the same day as his resurrection from the grave (Luke 24:51) - Sunday. Acts of the Apostles, written by the same author but some time later, says that Jesus remained on earth for forty days after his resurrection from the grave and was then seen by the disciples to ascend bodily to heaven. Acts is not sufficiently specific about exactly how many days the risen Jesus was on earth to say which day this was.
The only thing we know is that on the third day, God resurrected Jesus from the dead.

There could have been several reasons for the three days in the tomb. Many people think that he must have been unconscious and/or unaware. The bible tells us that Jesus did no…t spend those three days in the tomb. He descended to Abraham's Bosom to retrieve the dead saints that had been waiting for thousands of years for his return. The bible also tells us that He visited Hades (hell) but is unclear what he did there. It's possible He conversed with the unrepentant but we just don't know. Another possibility is that He wanted to get the point across that He really was dead. After three days it was a pretty good guess that He could not be alive. When He was resurrected on the third day and was seen by numerous people it must have made quite an impression on those who witnessed this miracle. Of course there is no way to know for sure and can only make educated guesses. Whatever the reason, God knew in his infinate wisdom, what was best.
