What did Medusa do?

cast magic, the Medusa of Wang Dan's light hair into numerous poisonous snakes.

But she held a special grudge against Medusa and made her mortal while her sisters are immortal. Also, Pegasus is said to be the child of Poseidon and Medusa but could not escape Medusa's body until after her death of beheading.
