It depends on where it is dripping. The spinning cycle of the machine might be causing the pipes to loosen up. You might want to check out the pipes if they are loose.
The SJ nut turns to the left to loosen
air in the water lines causes banging and whistles/screams. Turn off main water, turn on the faucet, turn main water back on, and it should force the air out.
The difference between seamless and welded (as it is commonly known) pipes is the welded joint along the longitudinal direction. Seamless pipes are manufactured by continuous extrusion process. Seamless pipes have greater bursting and tensile strength than the welded ones.

It depends on the "handedness" of the thread of the screw. Most screws have right-handed threads that in order to loosen the screw, the screw is turned in a counterclockwise direction. If however, the screw has a left-handed thread, then to loosen it you would turn the screw in a clockwise direction. By common convention, right-handedness is the default handedness for screw threads. Therefore, most threaded parts and fasteners have right-handed threads so to loosen most screws you would turn the screw in a counterclockwise direction.
