For Christmas you could cook a roast dinner. This would be made up of gravy, roast potatoes, carrots, onions (maybe), a type of meat e.g turkey, chicken. Etc . . . . For pudding you may have the traditional choice of christmas pudding or even a fruit cake. Or for the more fruity a trifle, fruit salad etc . . .

There are many different traditions for Christmas cooking. For Christmas dinner you could do a turkey dinner with stuffing, potatoes, sweet potatoes, gravy, cranberries, and your choice of salads, breads, etc. You could also do a ham dinner, pork roast, duck or goose dinner.

Many people like to make special treats for Christmas, such as cookies, fruit cake, pies, snack mixes, etc. They may also make treats related to their heritage or family traditions. Those who had a Scandinavian heritage may make lutefisk, Swedish meatballs, lefse, krumkake, sandbakkels, rosettes, and sotsuppe. Those with a German heritage might make springerle, stollen, tortes, or Pfeffernüsse.
