There really is no such thing as an official "Catholic prayer bracelet". That being said, many sell bracelets that are just one decade rosary, although I personally think wearing any kind of a rosary is more vanity than prayer. There are also "saints bracelets" for sell, I think that everyone needs to keep in mind that there really is no good to come from wearing say a rosary bracelet, unless you are actually using it to pray each day. To wear it as just decoration is kind of sacrilegious, but, again, that is just a personal opinion. So to directly answer your question, for this Catholic, I find someone wearing a "prayer bracelet" kind of disturbing. Once in a restaurant, I had a young man attired in a most unbecoming way with ear stretchers, other disturbing things, and a rosary around his neck. I spoke with the management and told them that I found that young man offensive, and that to be representing an eating establishment was not a place, as a server, to be showing off his various "interests", shall we say?
