If you wish to end the relationship, explain why you wish to do so. He is entitled to a full explanation. If he continues to call, ask him to respect your wishes. Do it kindly.

If he really cared about you, he would respect your wishes and want you to be happy. He is selfish and oonly thinking of himself; therefore, he has not changed. Tell him to stop for a week or two to give you time to think. If he won't, he is manipulating you and guilting you and is still abusive. Normal people aren't afraid to give you room to breathe. If he gets you back, his methods will go back to abusing from begging.
