What do you if you have Norton Internet Security with all the latest updates but still get viruses?

In 2005, Symantec (publisher of Norton products) purchased several companies for their technology.
However, when they tried to integrate these technologies into their top-of-class products, they screwed them up.
internet Security is Norton AV and Firewall together. Both products were impacted in January 2006 with heavy performance drains on host PCs. Symantec denied the problems and basically hung all users out to dry. Not the type of support we need from a major SW manufacturer.
I used to recommend Symantec without thinking, but now suggest ZoneAlarm's Internet Suite. Lately, Norton products are selling at a discount because they have lost their user base (mainly their annual subscription renewal and version upgrade income streams.
Time to change, maybe?
