Entomology is the branch of zoology dealing with insects. So be definition, an entomologist would be a person who through entomology would study the anatomy, behavior, etc. of insects.

Entomologists find the origins of words or phrases. Have you ever been curious as to why people say break a leg? An entomologist would be useful if you have questions like that. They would find out what caused this phrase to come about.

and etymologist is what that studies names

an entomologist studies insects. that should be blindly obvious when there are job adverts al around the page for bug studies.

p.s. if you search entomologist on wikipedia, it will specificly say: not to be confused with etymology
