According to Islam Jesus (may peace and mercy of god almighty be upon him) was one of the most beloved prophets of God almighty like Prophet Muhammad, Moses, Abharam, Adam, Noah, etc (may peace and mercy of god almighty be upon them).

He performed several miracles to bring people to the right faith like he could talk properly when he was just a baby, he could raise the dead from the grave and perform many other such miracles all due to gods mercy.

When his enemies finally thought of killing him, God almighty raised him to heaven and kept a decoy which the enemies thought was Jesus Christ. Thus we say that jesus christ was not crucified due to gods will.

When it will be the end of times and dajjal (anti christ) will appear and spread his menace throughout the world god almighy will send down jesus christ to vanquish the dajjal. He along with Mehdi (pbuh) will rule the world.

It will be when the end of the world is very near and the wall preventing god and magog from spreading destruction will break .No one will be able to kill them or capture them. When jesus christ will pray to god to stop them, his prayers will be ed and god will send down a kind of worm around their necks that will kill them.

Jesus(pbuh)will then die a natural death after fulfilling his mission as the messenger of god.

Bismillah (In the name of God)

: He is the same Jesus as the Jesus of The Bible, since Jesus never said in the bible; "I am God or Worship me." He must be the same

Book Sahih Bukhari

Volume 7, Book 72, Number 789:

Narrated Abdullah bin Umar:

Allah's Apostle said, "Today I saw myself in a dream near the Ka'ba. I saw a whitish brown man, the handsomest of all brown men you might ever see. He had the most beautiful Limma (hair hanging down to the earlobes) you might ever see. He had combed it and it was dripping water; and he was performing the Tawaf around the Kaba leaning on two men or on the shoulders of two men. l asked, "Who is this?" It was said. "Messiah, the son of Mary." Suddenly I saw a curly-haired man, blind in the right eye which looked like a protruding out grape. I asked, "Who is this?" It was said, "He is Masiah Ad-Dajjal.(anti-christ)"

Volume 4, Book 55, Number 607:

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Apostle said, "On the night of my Ascension to Heaven, I saw (the prophet) Moses who was a thin person with lank hair, looking like one of the men of the tribe of Shanua; and I saw Jesus who was of average height with red face as if he had just come out of a bathroom. And I resemble prophet Abraham more than any of his offspring does. Then I was given two cups, one containing milk and the other wine. Gabriel said, 'Drink whichever you like.' I took the milk and drank it. Gabriel said, 'You have accepted what is natural, (True Religion i.e. Islam) and if you had taken the wine, your followers would have gone astray.' "

Volume 4, Book 55, Number 608:

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:

The Prophet said, "One should not say that I am better than Jonah (i.e. Yunus) bin Matta." So, he mentioned his father Matta. The Prophet mentioned the night of his Ascension and said, "The prophet Moses was brown, a tall person as if from the people of the tribe of Shanu'a. Jesus was a curly-haired man of moderate height." He also mentioned Malik, the gate-keeper of the (Hell) Fire, and Ad-Dajjal.

Volume 9, Book 87, Number 153:

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar:

Allah's Apostle said, "While I was sleeping, I saw myself performing the Tawaf of the Ka'ba. Behold, there I saw a whitish-red lank-haired man (holding himself) between two men with water dropping from his hair. I asked, 'Who is this?' The people replied, 'He is the son of Mary.' Then I turned my face to see another man with red complexion, big body, curly hair, and blind in the right eye which looked like a protruding out grape. I asked, 'Who is he?' They replied, 'He is Ad-Dajjal(anti-christ).' Ibn Qatan resembles him more than anybody else among the people and Ibn Qatan was a man from Bani Al-Mustaliq from Khuza'a."

Volume 9, Book 88, Number 242:

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar:

Allah's Apostle said. "While I was sleeping, I saw myself (in a dream) performing Tawaf around the Ka'ba. Behold, I saw a reddish-white man with lank hair, and water was dropping from his head. I asked, "Who is this?' They replied, 'The son of Mary.'Then I turned my face to see another man with a huge body, red complexion and curly hair and blind in one eye. His eye looked like a protruding out grape. They said (to me), He is Ad-Dajjal." The Prophet added, "The man he resembled most is Ibn Qatan, a man from the tribe of Khuza'a. "

Volume 4, Book 55, Number 650:

Narrated Salim from his father:

No, By Allah, the Prophet did not tell that Jesus was of red complexion but said, "While I was asleep circumambulating the Ka'ba (in my dream), suddenly I saw a man of brown complexion and lank hair walking between two men, and water was dropping from his head. I asked, 'Who is this?' The people said, 'He is the son of Mary.' Then I looked behind and I saw a red-complexioned, fat, curly-haired man, blind in the right eye which looked like a bulging out grape. I asked, 'Who is this?' They replied, 'He is Ad-Dajjal.' The one who resembled to him among the people, was Ibn Qatar." (Az-Zuhri said, "He (i.e. Ibn Qatan) was a man from the tribe Khuza'a who died in the pre-lslamic period.")

Muslims believe that Jesus was a prophet and a very good man. The do not believe that He was / is the Son of God, as Christians do. The do not believe in His deity, or His return.

As Written in Quran

1)

Al-Qur'an, 002.087 (Al-Baqara [The Cow])

We gave Moses the Book and followed him up with a succession of messengers; We gave Jesus the son of Mary Clear (Signs) and strengthened him with the holy spirit. Is it that whenever there comes to you a messenger with what ye yourselves desire not, ye are puffed up with pride?- Some ye called impostors, and others ye slay!

2)

002.136 Say ye: "We believe in Allah, and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Isma'il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus, and that given to (all) prophets from their Lord: We make no difference between one and another of them: And we bow to Allah (in Islam)."

Al-Qur'an, 002.136 (Al-Baqara [The Cow])

3)

002.253 Those messengers We endowed with gifts, some above others: To one of them Allah spoke; others He raised to degrees (of honour); to Jesus the son of Mary We gave clear (Signs), and strengthened him with the holy spirit. If Allah had so willed, succeeding generations would not have fought among each other, after clear (Signs) had come to them, but they (chose) to wrangle, some believing and others rejecting. If Allah had so willed, they would not have fought each other; but Allah Fulfilleth His plan.

Al-Qur'an, 002.253 (Al-Baqara [The Cow])

4)

003.003 It is He Who sent down to thee (step by step), in truth, the Book, confirming what went before it; and He sent down the Law (of Moses) and the Gospel (of Jesus) before this, as a guide to mankind, and He sent down the criterion (of judgment between right and wrong).

Al-Qur'an, 003.003 (Aal-E-Imran [The Family of Imran])

There are 25 Verces of Jesus(PBUH) in Quran and in 3 its a Refrences to Jesus(PBUH) total 28 so according to these Verces we Muslims dont Beleive Jesus(PHUB) as a Son of Allah but Son of Mary

and he is considered as one the Prophets which send by Allah to ManKind.....

Muslims respect and revere Jesus (peace be upon him) , and await his second coming. They consider him one of the greatest of God's messengers to mankind. A Muslim never refers to him simply as `Jesus', but always adds the phrase "peace be upon him." The Qur'aan confirms his virgin birth (a chapter of the Qur'aan is entitled `Mary') in her time, and Mary is considered the purest woman in all creation. The Qur'aan describes the creation of Jesus as follows (interpretation of the meaning): "Behold! the Angel said, `God has chosen you, and purified you, and chosen you above the women of all nations. O Mary, God gives you glad tidings of a word from Him, whose name shall be the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, honored in this world and the Hereafter, and one that shall speak to the people from his cradle and in maturity, and shall be of the righteous.' She said: `O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me?' He said: `Even so; God creates what He wills. When He decrees a thing, He but says to it, "Be!" and it is." (Qur'aan, Surat (chapter) Aala 'Imraan, 3:42-7) Jesus (peace be upon him) was born miraculously through the same power which had brought Adam (peace be upon him) into being without a father: "Truly, the likeness of Jesus unto Allaahis as the likeness of Adam. He created him of dust, and then said to him, `Be!' and he was." (3:59) During his prophetic mission, Jesus (peace be upon him) was granted and performed many miracles. The Qur'aan tells us that he said (interpretation of meaning): "I have come to you with a sign from your Lord: I make for you out of the clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it and it becomes a bird by Allaah's leave. And I heal the blind and the lepers, and I raise the dead by Allaah's leave." (3:49) Other miracles include speaking soon after birth in defense of his mother's piety. God's other gifts to him included healing the blind and the sick, reviving the dead, and, most importantly, the message he was carrying. These miracles were granted to him by God to establish him as a prophet. According to the Qur'aan, he was not crucified, but only appeared so; instead, Allaah raised him unto Heaven. (Quraan, Chapter Maryam) Neither Muhammad (peace be upon him), nor Jesus (peace be upon him), came to change the basic doctrine of the belief in one God, brought by earlier prophets, but to confirm and renew it. In the Quran Jesus (peace be upon him), is reported as saying that he came: " To attest the law which was before me. And to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden you; I have come to you with a sign form your Lord, so fear God and obey me." (3:50)

In Islam, Jesus (PBUH) is one of the five greatest prophets, namely: Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (Peace be upon them all).

However, most Christians believe that the purpose of Jesus on earth was to die for our sins so that we could go to heaven and be with the father. They believe that Jesus is God or son of God.

Muslims believe that Jesus is one of the Greatest prophets who came to the Jews to correct for the deviations that occurred to their beliefs and the alterations introduced in their holy book and to bring them again to the right Path of God.

Muslims believe that the original sin of Adam and Eve was forgiven by God and that every one is responsible of his/her deeds in front of the all Merciful God, the one and only one God without a partner without a son.

Refer to the related questions, listed below, for more information.
He was one of the greatest prophets sent to mankind.
Answer: Jesus, peace be upon him, is called "The Messiah" throughout the Qur'an. What does this mean? Primarily two things: 1) it means that he is the last Prophet from the Children of Israel. He came to tell the Jews that the "Kingdom of God on Earth" was soon to come - pointing to the coming of Muhammad. 2) It also means that Jesus, peace be upon him, is the one who will return to Earth to establish, once and for all, the "Kingdom of God". Muhammad said: "Jesus the son of Mary will decsend (to Earth) just as he had ascended". When he returns he is to do several things. First, he destroys the anti-Christ. Second, he declares that he never told anyone to worship him as a god - that God is only One God, who does not have any offspring. There is NONE like unto God. Third, he declares that he, and other Prophets, foretold the coming of the "Messenger of the Covenant" (Muhammad). He therefore settles all disputes and guides Mankind to following the last revealed book - the Qur'an. Since all Mankind will then be in agreement, the world will run by the laws of the Qur'an and everyone will be at peace with everyone else. Muhammad said, about the return of Jesus: "He will rule as a just ruler, and will fill the world with justice to the degree that it had been filled with injustice before". and, he said: "The world will become like a piece of the garden of Paradise". No one will go hungry, no one will make war, no one will be oppressed or killed. Peace be upon Jesus, Muhammad, Moses and all the prophets of God ! We Muslims love Jesus. We do not worship him, but only the One who sent him.
Jesus, we call him Isa (its an Arabic word), is a great Prophet who spread the word of God. He basically did what other Prophets were told to do, he spread the message of the oness of God and he tried to persuade people to do good and worship one God. So his role is as a Prophet. There are also many miracles he could perform, such as (with God's help) raise the dead and cure the blind. He was also born without a father (as in no male touched his mother) whick is also another miracle.

Jesus in Islam (Arabic: عيسى‎ `Īsā) is a messenger of God who had been sent to guide the Children of Israel (banī isrā'īl) with a new scripture, the Injīl(gospel). The Qur'an, believed by Muslims to be God's final revelation, states that Jesus was born to Mary (Arabic: Maryam) as the result of virginal conception, a miraculous event which occurred by the decree of God (Arabic: Allah). To aid him in his quest, Jesus was given the ability to perform miracles, all by the permission of God. According to Islamic texts, Jesus was neither killed nor crucified, but rather he was raised alive up to heaven. Islamic traditions narrate that he will return to earth near the day of judgment to restore justice and defeat al-Masīḥ ad-Dajjāl (lit. "the false messiah", also known as the Antichrist). Like all prophets in Islam, Jesus is considered to have been a Muslim, as he preached for people to adopt the straight path in submission to God's will. Islam rejects that Jesus was God incarnate or the son of God, stating that he was a chosen human who, like other prophets, had been divinely chosen to spread God's message. Islamic texts forbid the association of partners with God (shirk), emphasizing the notion of God's divine oneness (tawhīd). Numerous titles are given to Jesus in the Qur'an, such as al-Masīḥ ("the messiah; the anointed one" i.e. by means of blessings), although it does not correspond with the meaning accrued in Christian belief. Jesus is seen in Islam as a precursor to Muhammad, and is believed by Muslims to have foretold the latter's coming.

He is a prophet who had a scripture (not every prophet in Islam had a scripture) which is known as the 'Indjeel' a.k.a. the Old Testament.

He is also not dead according to Islamic beliefs (hence the present tense talk about him). He is something called Messiah and descended to heaven because all he could do then, was enough. Muslims also believe that he will come back one day to defeat the one known as "anti-christ" (Dajjal in Arabic).

Jesus (Isa in Arabic) is regarded as one of the 5 greatest prophets in Islam. Therefore Muslims will often speak about him in a very respectable manner. It is also noticeable that in Islam it is seen as an atrocity to think that he is the son of god. You can find that in the Quran Surah 19 verse 35.

Islam teaches that Jesus was an Islamic prophet who revealed a holy book, the Injil (إنجيل) or Gospel. The purpose of his coming and revealing of the Injil was to correct the Jews as regards the supposed deviations and alterations introduced in their Torah. He was supposed to bring them back to God's true path. Jesus in Islamic tradition is believed to have been born to the Virgin Mary (like Christianity), but he is also supposed to have prophesied the coming of Muhammad. However, Islam denies any claims to Jesus being Divine.
