They confront the media about any news tha they may want to share or any issues they may have to answer to.

As all spokespeople they often tell lies to get away with certain things like for example black ops (and no not the video game from the call of duty franchise, i hate it when people make cod into every day life :/ ) and special operations. But i would say they mostly tell the truth.

An example of a spokesperson in action could be: A Harrier Jumpjet suffered a fatal emergency landing at RAF Cosford early yesterday moning. I am pleased to say that no one was injured or killed and the pilot ejected safely with minor cuts and bruises. An investigation has been launched into why the accident took place, so far we have only have evidence to believe that the landing gear malfnctioned but we have not come to a conclusion as of yet. No further comments and that's all i am at liberty to state for now.
