P1404 EGR Closed Position Performance
Try cleaning the EGR Valve and checking for a vacuum leak. If this does not repair the problem, then take it to a professional. Stop throwing parts at the problem, without knowing exactly what is wrong. You replaced the O2 sensor, correct?
Best bet is to just replace it and have the code reset if it comes on a gain, And I had this happen to my car. The pcm needed an update to it it costed me only one hour of labor time at chevy dealer it fixed it and fixed a few other things that were fixing to go bad. Hope this helps. Now I went on line and save a lot of money on my egr valve it was 63.50 for a dealers warehouse new and came with the gasket also.
