If I could ask Pony Boy Curtis anything I think it would have to be. "Why did he make a big deal of him cutting and bleaching his "tuff" hair?? I mean its like Johnny said "Shoot, man it's just hair."
The judge asks Ponyboy a few questions about his home life. Here is a link to sparknotes on the subject

There is no Johnny Curtis, there is Johnny Cade and the 3 Curtis boys: Ponyboy, Sodapop, and Darry.
He could have carried a switchblade, which might have prevented it.

In the book The Outsiders, Ponyboy is thinking that he wished he lived in a different culture where there wasn't stereotypes or classes that people were made to fit in to. That everyone could be seen as human beings.
Ponyboy, he's doesn't like to fight and he doesn't like the whole idea of getting drunk for fun. He's kinda more emotional. Like it says in the book, he like sunsets, reading, writing, drawing and nature. All things most greaser do not. He just, well, you could say, he just a different type of greaser. :)

The outsiders are exactly two rival groups that are the Greasers and the Socs. Really i think it's the people who don't follow the rival gangs. For example, Ponyboy, johnny, cherry and randy, don't follow the trend of hating each other, so they would considered outsiders.
Bob got killed by Jhonny because he and the socs. were drowning ponyboy so he could have died. Jhonny killed Bob with his switch blade.
If you were to write about it you could start it off something like this- "The Greasers and the Socs have a history of being enemies, poor and rich, smart and not smart. The total opposites. The Curtis boys' parents have died in an accident and it's up to them to survive not only by getting food and a house, but life. People, gangs, police. Can they get through it? Read The Outsiders, it's great!"
Johnny wants Ponyboy and Two-Bit to bring him another paperback copy of Gone with the Wind, so Ponyboy can continue reading it to him like he did before the fire.Source: The Outsiders, by S.E. Hinton
you pretend that you are in the time of the incident and that you have to write an article on what has happened, you can choose to take the side of ponyboy curtis ie, you think that Bob was a dirty socs that deserved it and it was self defence or you can take the side of Bob and the other socs and that he was murdered by a bunch of hoods! you could talk about how gang rivalrys are affecting innocent kids! sorry that i cant help much but i sont know your assignment :) hope this helps
Either Ponyboy and/or Darry. Ponyboy is smart and can get out of the environment that he is in if he chooses to and he will if his brothers have any say in that. Darry is the same way, but since he has to and wants to care for his brothers he is stuck for the time being. Once his brothers are of age and can take care of themselves then he could do it. Also if the Curtis parents were still alive then there would have no doubt that Darry could have gotten out.
