It means what it says, not enough fuel flowing through the system. Usually the cause is closely related to the fuel pump, fuel pressure sensor or some blockage within the fuel system. One thing you can do will be to throw in some fuel system cleaner and see if that relieves the issue, maybe theres some blockage and that will remove it. You could pour in 1 bottle of cleaner into the fuel tank every other fill up.
