The rebellion in 1215 of English nobles against King John of England, the so-called First Barons' War. Many people think that the Magna Carta gave all Englishmen the right to a fair trial in a Court of Law, but that is not correct. The only people granted the right of trial in the Magna Carta were the nobles themselves, and the officials of the Roman Catholic Church.

What do you think migth have happen if the olive branch petition had reached London before king george 111 issued a proclamation of rebellion?

In fact the Petition was formally presented before the Proclamation was issued, by two days. Even if it had arrived earlier, probably nothing much would have been different. The colonists looked upon Parliament as the source of their grievances, they looked upon the King as favorable to their views and their protector against Parliament. In fact the King approved of most of Parliaments actions and some had in fact originated with him. The colonials saw themselves as Englishmen in an English country with the rights and protections of Englishmen. The King and Parliament viewed the colonies as property of England with the colonists under the control of King and Parliament. Any "protection" the colonys had was against damage to that property. The petition and the proclamation were being drafted at about the same time. Various actions by colonials, which could only be seen as acts of rebellion had already occurred through out the colonies; riots, theft, vandalism, lynchings and other physical violence against the King's officers and property. Lexington and Concord, and the Battle of Bunker's Hill occurred before the petition, in the form of a letter, was sent to London in July 1775. The premature sending of the unofficial letter was due to those events. The King was well aware of its existence and contents before the formal petition was presented August 21. He refused to officially look at it since, in his expressed view, it was from an illegal and illegitimate assembly of already rebellious colonists. Knowing of the petition and its contents he issued the Proclamation on August 23. The rejection of the petition and issuance of the proclamation made many colonists see that the King was not their "protector" and the only choice was between complete independence or complete submission.

What effect did the events of September 11 2001 have on Muslim Americans?

The events of September 11 2001, although they are political events happened under conspiracy agenda, but led to enmity feeling against Muslims. Media and biased propaganda falsified many facts about Islam and Muslims. They Accused Muslims, falsifuly, of being terrorists. The politicians exploited these events to cover their raids against Muslims all over the world, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestinian Territories, Lebanon, Pakistan, Bosnia, and many other countries. Do you think that if the same events happened by Christians, the media and politicians will accuse Christians of being terrorists and Christianity to be religion of terrorism? or if happened by Jews then they will accuse Jews for being terrorists and Judaism to be religion of terrorism?. I know the answer but I leave for you the opportunity to think about the answer and the reason behind the answer.
