Technology was on the side of the white intruders. True, that era did not boast a lot ofcomplex technology, but a repeating rifle was far, far ahead of a bow and arrow or tomahawk. The major goal of subjugating Native Americans was to...get rid of them. They were seen as an annoying roadblock to the Manifest Destiny. The Manifest Destiny idea -- today we would laugh at it -- held that God had determined the American continent should belong to whites. Native American dealings are a dark stain on US history.

Why are people so gullible to believe that it was righteous to place native American Indians on reservations and not remain on the land on which they discovered themselves?

People's perception of what is righteous can be influenced by various factors such as cultural beliefs, historical narratives, and societal norms. In the case of placing Native American Indians on reservations, some people may have believed it was justified based on the prevailing ideology of Manifest Destiny, which promoted the belief that American expansion was necessary and destined. Additionally, misinformation, stereotypes, and power imbalances may have contributed to the gullibility of people to accept this narrative without critically questioning its implications.
