It a 10 fuse u dont have to a 10 u can use a 20 but stock its a 10 I found that the radio's red wire (+12-volt, on with key) fuse is under the dash, but the yellow wire (+12-volt, always on - saves radio's setting, time, etc.) is the 7.5-volt fuse under the hood.
One of two places. If the radio was put is when the car was built and the engineers knew what they were doing, it's in the fuse block under the dashboard on the drivers side. Check the fuse diagram first. For some reason I never figured out, most of the time it's an inline fuse in a fuse holder on the 'hot' wire between the fuse block and the radio. If the fuse diagram doesn't mention it, look behind the radio, or under the dash, for a cylinder about 2 inches long by 1/2 inch in diameter.
You don't specify what year but I think the fuse blocks are all pretty much standard year-to-year. In my Focus it is: Fuse # 31, 15 Amp
The radio fuse is generally 10 amps and in most cases can be found at the back of the radio on the live (red) wire before it plugs into it's power source.

The fuse box is to the left of the clutch pedal. The radio fuse is in the top row, second from the end (I think).
