I have had Honda Civic and Honda Insight hybrids and think they are wonderful and will continue buying hybrids. They have the same performance as any other car but you have to be willing to "hold them back" to get optimal gas mileage (but you need to do this on other cars anyway, the hybrid just gives you reminders that other cars don't). Sometimes other drivers aren't patient when you don't want to go as fast as they want to go.

∙ 8y agoThe popularity of hybrid vehicles goes up and down with the price of fuel. When gasoline is expensive, above $4, the extra cost of a hybrid can be offset by the furl savings.
