You could tell the court that your dog ate your driver's license. Or perhaps the nearest phone (to call for police or ambulance help to save your sick parent) was a necessary-evil, unavoidable-driving-distance away.

More likely than not, you knew that what you asked has no basis, and you must think as an adult. That is why there are age minimums: you need mature judgment to become a good driver!
