The UK (United Kingdom) is in the northwestern hemisphere because although it is above the equator, it is also very much stationed to the west.

The Northern and although the Prime Meridian runs through it, it is classed as part of the Western Hemisphere usually - most of the country is in the Western Hemisphere also as the Prime Meridian runs through Greenwich London in the south east
