well you need English maths and science because you have to take them, and then you take history, geography, and some other subjects
Also it would be rather wise if you took french all throughout highschool, also (if possible) a law course
To be an attorney (at law), English, Maths, Latin, History, French and Law. Science is an option.
English, because at law the true meaning of words is used, not the casual meaning.
Maths; you are in business so you need to be able to do your sums/accounts/book keeping.
Latin, Modern English has developed from Latin, and many Latin phrases are still used today e.g. Sub-poena; sub- judicea.
History ; So you know how the law has developed, and how courts of law came into being. Judge, jury, witnesses etc.,
French ; Modern English has developed from Latin, through Norman (Medieaval) French, and you need to know this development.
Finally, Law, if it is taught in your school, The differences between Common Law, Civil Law, and Criminal Law.
